femfitness LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the femfitness mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the App.
By using femfitness, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Menstrual cycle dates and cycle length
- Body weight and age
- Health conditions you choose to share — including PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, irregular cycles, thyroid conditions, and perimenopause
- Symptom check-ins and mood entries
- Workout history and fitness preferences
Payment information. Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store (StoreKit) or Google Play Billing. femfitness LLC never collects or stores your credit card details.
Apple Health data. If you connect Apple Health, workout and health metrics you choose to share are processed to power your Watch insights.
Device and usage information. Device type, operating system, app version, and how you interact with the app, used to keep femfitness running smoothly.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide your daily cycle insights, workout guidance, and nutrition recommendations
- To personalize your experience based on your cycle phase and health profile
- To power Carter, your AI nutrition coach
- To process your subscription through Apple or Google
- To respond to your support requests
- To maintain and improve the app's performance and security
3. femfitness Does Not Sell or Share Your Data
femfitness LLC does not sell, rent, or share your personal data — including your health information — with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose. Your cycle data, health conditions, weight, and symptom history belong to you, and are used solely to power the features of the app.
4. Third-Party Services
femfitness relies on a small number of trusted service providers to operate. These providers process certain data on our behalf, under their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google LLC) — secure user authentication and data storage
- Anthropic — powers Carter, your AI nutrition coach
- Apple Inc. — App Store distribution, subscriptions, and HealthKit integration
These providers do not have rights to use your data for their own purposes beyond providing their service to femfitness. We encourage you to review their privacy policies for more detail on how they handle data in transit and storage.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Firebase's secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to user health data within femfitness is restricted and limited to what is necessary to operate the app.
6. Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile
- Request deletion of your account and associated data at any time
- Export your data in a portable format upon request

7. Children's Privacy

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data — including health information — is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. International Users
femfitness is based in the United States. If you access the app from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the app or by email. Your continued use of femfitness after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
